Moores Hill Estate
At Moores Hill Estate, we make wine powered by the sun! We have built Tasmania’s first 100% off grid winery. Our 7 hectares of vines are bathed in sunshine on our north facing slope. Best known as a producer of fine Riesling, we also make Sparkling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Merlot. All our fruit is hand picked and vinified on site- we’re hands on from start to finish. Our cellar door is open 7 days for wine tasting and we serve platters that showcase the produce of the region.
Artentwine Sculptures on Display
1 October 2016 – 31 January 2017
Moores Hill is glad to support Artentwine as another important way for us to connect with our community. We are really pleased to offer space for Tasmanian sculptors to display their work. We encourage Moores Hill visitors to take this opportunity to engage with the breaking edge of contemporary Tasmanian art.
